The Bennett & Suzy Katz Cancer Resource Center
The Bennett & Suzy Katz Cancer Resource Center at Dominican Hospital offers patients and their loved ones a place to get the support they need. The Katz Cancer Resource Center (KRCR) provides access to information and services related to all aspects of cancer care. Our certified oncology nurses (RNs) provide guidance in sorting through questions about cancer, assistance in coordinating care, and referrals to support services. Individuals with cancer and their families may set up an appointment to meet with a KCRC oncology nurse to discuss and personalize a program for support, education and guidance.
Support groups are open to all whose lives are challenged by cancer: patients, family and close friends. Support Groups include breast cancer, cancer, caregiver support, prostate cancer, lymphedema, and children whose parents or loved ones have cancer. Supportive Care Programs include: educational classes led by professional instructors: Chemo 101, Look Good Feel Better, Eating Well through Cancer, Gentle Yoga, and Creative Expression through Art.
