Childbirth Classes

Getting prepared

Dominican Hospital offers an extensive assortment of classes to prepare you for birth and for life after your baby is born. Please see visit our Classes and Events page by clicking on the link to your left, or call our PEP office at 831 462 7709 to have a catalog mailed to you.

Classes include, but are not limited to, Prepared Childbirth, Vaginal Birth After Caesarean, Caesarean Birth, The Expectant Dad, Daddy and Me, Prenatal Aquatics, Prenatal Yoga, Breastfeeding Preparation and Infant Care. The PEP program offers scholarships and lower rates for families receiving Medi-Cal.

A free tour of the birth center is offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening. A tour in Spanish is offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the second Saturday of every month.
