Initiating palliative care

Your physician(s) will be included in the decision to involve palliative care, and may request a consultation with the palliative care team. However, the choice is yours. It is a very personal decision. After talking with your primary care physician, you might want to talk it over with your loved ones and ask for their support whenever possible.
